  1. Personal showings. While some agents believe in lock boxes and assistants showing the properties, I am a strong believer in personal showings. Being personally present at the showing allows me to point out all of the positives of the property, soften the negatives, read the reaction of potential buyers and best of all SELL!
  2. Fix up and clean up. This step might be obvious but it’s commonly overlooked. Doing small fix up around your property and cleaning it can sometimes make a substantial difference in the selling price of the house or condo. Some examples include:
    • Raising blinds and shades to open a room and bring in more light
    • Painting, especially over flaws in the current paint
    • Updating the landscaping
    • Removing family photos off the walls
